This week is going to be a busy one. Not only do I have work, and my birthday, but I also have to go through clothes and make sure that I have everything I need for my trip at the end of the week. Where am I going? To the other side of the country. Port Elgin, Ontario to be exact. Going to spend two weeks with family that I haven’t seen in awhile (my sisters are coming with me). Saturday is going to be a day full of flying and driving, but it’s going to be worth it.

• Actual mixtapes that took forever to make perfect
• Waiting for a VHS to finish rewinding // watching things go in reverse
• TGIF - those shows were perfect
• POGS
• Polly Pocket. You know, when she was actually ‘pocket’ sized
• Saturday Morning Cartoons (they aren’t what they use to be)
• Playing neighborhood sized versions of hide and go seek // kick the can // tag

That’s all I can think of at the moment, but seriously, I just miss my childhood.

I just wish finals hadn’t gotten in the way of reading it weeks ago…

All I can say is that I love it and who knew a handful of berries could do so much…

On to Mockingjay.

Aww, thank you. It’s not as lively as my twitter, though that’s kind of been quiet lately too. I enjoy the social scene here, but that’s because of my friends. The university is pretty good about creating a decent social environment. Sometimes I think that there could be more to do in town, but then I realize there also could be a lot less, so I try not to complain. I do go to UNBC, next year will be my last year.

All you need to remember is that someone loves you the way you are.

There was an explosion at Lakeland Mills tonight.

So far there’s 12 people in serious condition at the hospital, and 11 more people on their way to the hospital.

My heart goes out to all involved and those who have friends or family working there. <3

One of the many things I’ve learned over the years is that being able to laugh at myself is an amazing thing. So is being able to make a joke at my own expense.
